Lets compare two rooms, one conventional, much like one of the rooms in your home, and one painted with Hy-Tech insulating additive for paint

Room #1
The typical room is insulated with traditional mass insulation above the ceiling and in the walls. The purpose of the insulation is to "resist", not stop, the rate of heat transfer ( measured by the R-Value.)
Its cold, you turn your heater on and start warming up the room. The generated heat warms up the air within the room and also warms ceilings, walls, furniture, flooring etc.
As soon as the ceilings and walls begin to warm up, the heat starts transferring to the cooler attic and outside through the walls.
(Remember earlier we learned  heat Always transfers from hot to cold)
The room finally reaches a toasty 72 degrees and your heating unit turns off. Here is where your energy expenses start. The nice warm ceilings and walls are still transferring heat to the cold side and the fiberglass is still only "resisting" the heat flow. Pretty soon all the heat has migrated to the cold side of the ceilings and walls and so the cycle starts again.. heater on, generate more heat, have it escape to the cold, spend more money for fuel!

Room #2:
We paint the ceilings and walls with Hy-Tech Insulating Ceramics mixed into the paint, or better yet Hy-Tech #85 Radiant Barrier Paint. Now the heat generated within the room hits the ceilings and walls with the vacuum filled ceramics (physics law says nothing moves through a vacuum.) and it is held within the room!  Hy-Tech  ceramic based paint products, reflect the radiant heat back to the source resulting in reduced heat transfer. Cooler roofs and walls in the summer and warmer interiors in the winter months.

Extensive studies, evaluations and test results confirm that ceramic filled coatings control heat through reflection at the source substantially reducing the absorption of heat by the substrate.

THINK ABOUT IT! Reflecting heat back to the source and rapidly dissipating it is the answer to keeping heat out in the summer and keeping heat in during the winter rather than ONLY slowing down the conduction of the heat with traditional insulation!

The choice is yours, keep feeding the fuel companies and continue to warm up the outside air this winter or, Use Hy-Tech Thermal Solutions
Buy Insulating Additive for your Paint or
Hy-Tech pre-mixed Radiant Barrier Paint.

Of course you could always wallpaper your ceilings and walls with aluminum foil or tile them with space shuttle tiles.
